Q & A

  • Q: Would the location be IP address tracked or actual physical location?
    A: We use the word locations but it could be something else. I have a client who has 10 locations and some employees float, so they can indicate which location they are actually work at. If they only have one location or the employee only works at one of them, then that option is diabled in the settings. You can list your clients, check the box for bill to clients, and then each employee or person tracking time can indicate which client they are working on.
  • Q: Could employees enter time from their phones?
    A: This was specifically how it was designed, for employees with smartphones or solo's who need to track client related time spent. Attorneys are a good example for this as well as a mechanic working on a clients car. He gets stopped waiting for a part so he clocks out of that customer and starts work on another.'
  • Q: Working from home I wouldn't have different locations. How could I utilize that feature? Or could I turn it off?
    A: You could turn off the option in the employer settings, or just for that one employee in the employee options tab of their profile pages.
  • Q: Is it ready to go?
    A: Yes, but it's always getting better. We are currently developing the integration with our CRM platforms (Rhapidlaw.com and simpletousecrm.com) so your client billing can be pushed directly to the CRM
